GCC-SPECS
GCC -specs cars are the most common cars in UAE when comparing to other specifications, because the cars have better equipments for the hotter countries.
Depending of the car brand and model, below the list of the equipments which might be better in GCC -cars:
• Stronger cooling system for the engine.
• Stronger AC.
• More protective air filter system for the engine.
• Interior materials designed for better heat resistance.
European car brands with GCC -specifications(e.g. Porsche, MB, Audi, Ferrari, Lamborghini);
• Cars has already the necessary E-approved parts; lights and seat belts.
• Generally cars has already basic winter equipments, like seat-, window- and mirror heaters.
• A comprehensive CoC-document is required when proceed the registration in EU, which can be ordered by online from e.g. TÜV-Nordic or direct from the dealer of the car brand.
US car brands with GCC -specifications(e.g. Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford US);
1) These cars do not might have E-approved lights. Registration in some European countries may require E-approved lights while registration process.
2) In some cases, these cars missing the FMVSS/CMVSS or CARB label. Contact the Official Dealer of the car brand to inquire the safety certificate and exhaust emission certificate.
3) In other respects the requirements are the same as for US-spec cars.
Mainly there's no need to make any technical changes for the car regarding registration process in EU -countries, if following standards will be found from the car.

US-SPECS
A lot of US-spec cars are imported to the UAE. Mainly US-specs cars have some accident history before imported in UAE. Cars are mainly much cheaper to repair in UAE, so that's the main reason why importing US-specs cars is so popular.
For example, Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger are very popular in street view.
Due to recent changes in EU -registration rules, these cars are also easy to register in EU-countries.
US-specs cars might have non E-approved lights, like example DOT lights.
Prices are cheap compared to cars on sale in all over the Europe.
Benefits for US-spec car registration:
It is not necessary to make any technical changes for the cars before registration in most of the EU -countries, if standards which mentioned below will be found from the car. We always check if car has these labels while inpection;

There are a lot of EU-spec cars in the UAE that can be easily registered to EU without any changes in the body / equipments.
Mainly EU cars comes to the UAE with Europeans when they are moving in the country.
EU-spec cars in UAE are mainly cheaper when comparing to GCC-specs because they do not have equipments for hotter weather. That's also the reason why car buyers in UAE prefer GCC-spec cars over the EU-specs.
JAPAN-SPECS
A lot of Japan-spec cars are imported to the UAE. Especially rare and high end models.
There are many great deals on offer.
Japan -spec cars will be mainly registered in EU -countries under the same registeration rules as US -spec cars.
